FP7 - Financial Reporting and Audits

Financial Rules of FP7
The new financial rules for FP7 project management including cost models, direct costs and indirect costs, EC payments, Financial Guarantee Fund, Certificates on Financial Statements, Certificate on Methodology, and Certificate on Average Personnel Costs.

Real-time exercise on financial reporting
Workshop with pragmatic approaches in reporting based on dummy invoices and time records generated for each participant: point-by-point assessment of the different situations, what should be included and what should not.

Technical and financial reporting
Preparing the periodic and final reports (FORM Cs, FORCE/SESAM system, format and content aspects, overall principles, possible bottlenecks).

Financial Audits
First-hand experiences with project closure and EC Audits: How to prepare (format, content) and how to survive (overall principles) an audit?

Europa Media follows the European VAT regulations in force. More information

The regulations state that in case of cultural, art, scientific, educational, entertainment and sport related services other rules apply.  In case such services are provided in the country of the service provider, the buyer needs to pay the VAT. In case the training organisation provided the training in the premises of the buyer, in a different country, the invoice would not contain any VAT. These rules apply in all European countries, not only in Hungary.

You can only get exemption from paying the VAT if you have an international VAT exemption certificate. In case your organisation does not have this certificate, you have to pay the training fee with VAT.

Of course it does not mean that you are not able to reclaim the VAT on our course. You have the opportunity to recover the VAT by requesting it directly from the Hungarian Tax authority. You can get all the information and documents to fill in at the following link.

How to apply?
On-line application: You can apply on-line through our electronic application system. Application by fax or by email: You can apply via fax or email by sending a completed application form (available in word and pdf format on the given training website or found at the back of the downloadable brochure) to +36 1 436 9038 or to info@eutrainingsite.com. This application type allows you to pay only by bank transfer.

What happens after registration?
A confirmation email will be sent within 48 hours of registering online (or 48 hours after fax/email has been received). The email will contain detailed information concerning administrative and payment issues, and information about accommodation possibilities. If you do not receive this confirmation emails, please call Europa Media at +36 1 453 3801.

How can I pay the registration fee?
On-line Payment: Participants registering online can take advantage of the online payment system. The online payment systems utilises World Pay. World Pay is a secure online payment system that allows participants to pay immediately with a credit card (MasterCard, Visa, Visa Delta, Visa Purchasing, Laser, but not American Express!).

Bank Transfer: Participants may also pay via bank transfer after they have received the confirmation email from Europa Media. The confirmation email will include all necessary information required to facilitate a bank transfer. Together with the confirmation email, all applicants will receive an electronic pro-forma invoice  automatically generated that will also include the necessary bank transfer information (account number, IBAN number, SWIFT code, etc.). Once the transfer has been made, please fax a copy of the confirmation to Europa Media at +36 1 436 9038. The electronic invoice will be sent once payment for the course has been received.

*In order to take part in the international training, applicants shall send payment in advance, at least 10 working days prior to the start of the event. Please do not forget to indicate the number of your invoice and the name of the applicant on the bank transfer order!

How can I find the venue?
One-week before the workshop starts Europa Media will email you the "How to get to the Venue", a practical guide including maps, addresses, transportation possibilities, important phone number, etc. Using this guide will ease your travel to and stay during the workshop.
