Europa Media, its partners and all other parties directly or indirectly affiliated or associated with the e-learning and training courses (hereinafter Service Providers) will work to provide the most up-to-date information to the best of their capabilities but are not responsible for any losses, monetary or otherwise, incurred due to time lapses between official changes of the European Union and changes within the e-learning and training course material. Under no circumstances shall the Service Providers or any of their employees, partners or agents be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or other damages including, but not limited to, lost revenues or lost profits arising from or in connection with the use of the information provided or reached through www.eutrainingsite.com, www.eutrainingsite.net, or through the e-learning or training courses. No advice or information given by the employees, agents, moderators, administrators or personal assistants of the Service Providers shall create any warranty or liability including, but not limited to, the accuracy, completeness or reliability of the content, text, graphics, links or other items accessed through or reached from or via the aforementioned websites and e-learning and training courses.
For site security purposes the Service Providers use various software programmes to monitor network traffic and to identify any unauthorized access or attempts to cause damage. Unauthorized attempts will be logged and reported to the authorities. Purchasers of e-learning and training courses are not permitted to share, distribute, sell or otherwise transfer their password to other individuals or organisations. The password is for the sole use of the purchaser and is valid only for a limited time period. Significant or unusual use of a password (including, but not limited to, significant use of a password on multiple computers, IPs or multiple log-ins at the same time) will result in denied access, temporary or permanent suspension for that password. In the case of permanent suspension all user rights will be terminated without a refund. Providing false information may also result in the termination of user accounts without a refund.
The Service Providers have scheduled several downtimes for system maintenance. Unplanned or incidental downtimes may also occur. The Service Providers shall have no liability for the resulting inaccessibility or for any losses incurred (financial, date or otherwise) resulting from the planned or unplanned system downtimes. Some of the pages in the e-learning course may contain links to information created and maintained by outside organisations. The Service Providers cannot guarantee the accuracy of the information provided on these outside links and cannot be held liable for any use of this information. The e-learning course is free of errors, viruses and other harmful components; users access the information at their own risk and are solely responsible for any damages caused to their computers, systems, hardware, software, data or files.
All personal information provided will be kept strictly confidential and will not be redistributed in any manner to third parties. The provided information will be used for accounting purposes, to inform users about changes made to the websites, new and upcoming services and/or special services that are deemed beneficial to the user and/or his/her organisation.
The Service Providers are not linked or related to the European Commission or to any European government in any respect. The Service Providers do not resell or otherwise commercially exploit freely available public information and do not imply that this information is restricted or only accessible through www.eutrainingsite.com, www.eutrainingsite.net, or its trainings. All interested parties are strongly advised to consult the official website of the EU at www.europa.eu, the websites of ministries, various helpdesks, Information Relay Centres (IRCs), Euro Info Centres (ERCs), Business Innovation Centres (BICs) and/or any other official network, supporting organisation or EC representation before taking advantage of services delivered by commercial organisations. The courses are not supported by the European Union or any public fund and cannot by any means be considered an official initiative of the European Union.
The Service Providers reserve the right to edit the content of the information provided in the courses at their own discretion and without notice. Indecent or otherwise unacceptable behavior through the portal’s communication channels may result in the temporary or permanent suspension of the user account. In the case of permanent suspension, no refund will be given.
The Service Providers offer Special Early Bird rates for the various courses. These rates are only valid until the date indicated or until capacity has been reached for that rate. Capacity for the rates is determined by the Service Providers and varies from course to course. The Service Providers reserve the right to deny the Special Early Bird rate to participants who have applied after the indicated date or to participants who have applied after capacity has been reached.
The Service Providers may take photographs, audio and video recordings during the scheduled events. These materials may be used for promotional purposes for future events and will not be used in an unprofessional manner. The Participants agree that photos may be taken and that they may be used for promotional purposes. Should a Participant wish to not have his or her photograph taken or used, he or she must make it clear to the Service Providers during the event. Participants are allowed to take photographs during the course for personal use only. Making audio and video recordings are not allowed during the course and any participant caught taping any lectures or material will be asked to delete the recorded material. Should a participant refuse to delete said material, the Service Providers reserve the right to dismiss any such participant.
Any claim, action or proceeding arising from the use of the services provided shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the City Court of Budapest, Hungary.
PAYMENT POLICY, CANCELLATION POLICY
By filling in the registration form and providing the invoicing details, the registered people agree on the following payment and cancellation terms of Europa Media courses.
Full payment must be received before the training course.
Should the intended participant be unable to attend, a substitute delegate is always welcome. Alternatively, if provided notification is made via e-mail or fax prior to the session, the participant is entitled to a refund, minus a service fee, according to the following guidelines:
• OVER 15 BUSINESS DAYS BEFORE STARTING DATE OF THE COURSE - 15% OF THE AMOUNT
• 14 TO 11 BUSINESS DAYS BEFORE STARTING DATE OF THE COURSE - 50 % OF THE AMOUNT
• 10 TO 6 BUSINESS DAYS BEFORE STARTING DATE OF THE COURSE - 75 % OF THE AMOUNT
Even if no payment has been received before the cancellation, the same policy applies. Europa Media will issue an invoice on the service (full amount of the training course minus the refund %), which has to be paid within due date.
Regrettably, no refunds will be made if notification is made less than five (5) business days prior to the courses, but a substitute delegate is still welcome to attend.
Additionally, Europa Media will try to provide the opportunity to reschedule participation upon availability and register a participant to another course. Rescheduling a course is possible only once, second cancellation results in no refunds. Rescheduling a course is permitted with 15 working days advance notice. Cancellation and/or reschedule requests must be received in writing by email or fax.
The Service Providers reserve the right to cancel the courses up to four (4) weeks before the start date of the scheduled workshops/seminars. The Service Providers accept no responsibility for costs incurred in relation with the courses (travel costs, hotel, etc.) for the participants.
Participants not using their partner code at the registration will not be entitled to the 5% discount, refund is not possible.
Europa Media Voucher is granted to participants of the courses. The voucher is only redeemable online at www.eutrainingsite.com. The voucher can only be used as part of the payment for future courses and is only valid for up to one year from the date indicated on the voucher.
The voucher is transferable, meaning it can be redeemed by anyone providing the special identification number in the indicated places when registering for a course through the websites. The voucher cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be refunded.
